The 100 is very nice for triplet echo's and reverb (combination of the 3 heads)
Dynacord Echocord 100 Tape Echo COMPLETELY OVERHAULED!
3 echo modes and these can be combined. With the potentiometers you can adjust the volume per echo setting. The reverb setting is the shortest echo setting and with the feedback button it is a kind of reverb.
More than 45 years old and in beautiful condition again with new tape, new rubber pinch roller, demagnetized, clean and adjusted (azimuth) heads.
The running mechanism has been adjusted and cleaned. The shaft of the motor is polished and super smooth. All holes of the rollers are lubricated. Thanks to the new rubber pinch roller, the tape runs smoothly and the sound is also less wobbly.
All heads have been polished and look like new !
All potentiometers have been washsprayed and airblowned clean.
The electronics have been tested. All electrolytic capacitors (elco's) have been replaced, including the power supply!
All transistors have been replaced by more modern and quieter BC549 and BC559 types.
The potentiometers on the printed circuit boards have been replaced by new ones.
100% wet out modification has been done. This means that you only have the echo signal without the direct sound from the input. So you can now record the echo effect separately on a track without the direct input sound. So you can now choose from the normal output with echo and direct sound and 100% wet out only. You can use both outputs at the same time. PAY ATTENTION ! If 100% wet out is open, the normal output will only have the direct sound at that time. If the normal output with the direct / echo sound is open, the 100% law output has no signal.
No money for a Roland space echo, buy a Dynacord!
The Dynacords sounds more dynamic and a bit more aggressive than a Roland space echo and have a very nice self-oscillating feedback. Very organic and lifelike sounding.
